Feedback

The discussion forums and feedback forms are a public forum and want to be open to everybody. However, we expect everybody to keep up with the following rules.

  1. Keep to the subject Except for the "Anything Goes" forum, your message should have some relation with the subject of the forum. If you reply to a message, please do so only if you reply to the content of that message, or one of its replies.
  2. Mind your language The use of insulting, rude, or sexually explicit language is not allowed.
  3. No "Trolling" Manipulating the discussion with the apparent intend to irritate or start flame-wars is not allowed.
  4. Respect copyright Do not post messages that infringe someone else copyright. Short excerpts from copyrighted work in the course of a discussion to show your point are fair use, but outright copying of entire stories, songs, or other peoples' messages is not allowed.
  5. Use of capital letters Do not post messages using only or mostly capital letters. Such messages are ugly, and more difficult to read. If you want to stress something, you can use italic or bold using the corresponding HTML tags.
  6. Use of HTML tags No other HTML tags will be allowed than those indicated under the feedback edit box. The site will automatically remove disallowed HTML tags.
  7. Sensible linking Links to external sites are only allowed if they make sense in the context of the discussion and might add value to other visitors. Links just to increase "page-rank" or for other manipulative reasons are not allowed.
  8. No Advertising or Spam Do not advertise any service or product on those pages. If you are a Bohol related business, you can have a free listing in our business directory in the relevant section, including a full page to advertise your business. For all other forms of advertising, please be in touch with the webmaster.

We reserve the right to remove any message on the forum that does not comply with these rules, and to deny further access to the discussion board for people who abuse the forum.

Reviews

For the feedback and review feature for businesses, the same rules apply as for the discussion forums, and in addition:

  1. No comments on the competition Owners of business are not allowed to place comments on their competitors pages. They can, and are encouraged to, place comments on their own pages if they have such, and respond to comments placed by others there.
  2. No customer inquiries Use the inquiry form for that.
Robots

Robots are only allowed to crawl this site when they meet the following conditions.

  1. Robots should follow the robot exclusion standard.
  2. Robots should avoid excessive bandwidth usage. Downloading the entire site more than once daily is definitely excessive.
  3. Robots should serve a reasonable purpose, such as search indexes, archiving, or collecting a personal copy of parts of the site for off-line browsing.
  4. Robots for the purpose of harvesting email addresses and other spam-related behavior are expressly forbidden.
  5. Robots should identify themselves as such, and not use false or misleading HTTP headers.

A robot operating in violation of those rules may result in an immediate and permanent ban on its IP address or IP address range. Downloading information with robots in violation of those conditions will be considered an infringement of copyright as well as trespass of chattels.
