Since it opened its doors to the public seven years ago, ICM continues to redefine the concept of shopping, dining, fun and entertainment in Bohol, and looks forward to more leverages that continue to raise the bar of excellence in a sustained effort to upgrade lifestyle. Truly an embodiment of customer satisfaction and malling superiority, ICM lives up to the title: SHOPPING CENTER OF THE YEAR. For two consecutive years, ICM had been cited as Shopping Center of the Year (Regional Category) in 2009 and 2010 by the Philippine Retailers Association (PRA) and the Department of Trade & Industry (DTI), and was inducted to the Hall of Fame for consistently bagging the prestigious award. In 2005, the mall was also chosen as one of the best in the country during the National Shoppers’ Choice Awards. This is quite a rare feat for ICM which is up against big competitors, and despite being fairly new in the mall industry. But as rated by the PRA, the excellence performance of the mall in product quality, company reputation, and brand recognition and consumer services are the compelling reasons why ICM surpasses the others.

Yeah, this place is awesome! Come to visit this site. Island City Mall has redefined the concept of shopping, dining, and entertainment in Bohol upon its opening in 2004. It infused lifestyle changes in the community, brought shopping into one roof, made available diverse dining options, and became an energetic events venue where people can linger and enjoy various entertainments and live performances. The retail flagship venture of the Alturas Group of Companies, a home-grown conglomerate with three decades of expertise in the local retail industry, ICM was envisioned to bring in popular products and service brands previously unavailable to Boholanos, expats, and tourists alike. A stunning architectural masterpiece replete, ICM has become a landmark and is considered a centerpiece of the city's economic progress. It is every shopping maven's ultimate haven, a wholesome destination for family bonding, and a commercial hub with a cosmopolitan feel yet surrounded with the distinct Boholano hospitality. Situated adjacent to the Tagbilaran Central Public Market and the Integrated Bus Terminal, the mall affords a station for various public transport turning it into a major convergence area. While easily accessible,ICM also prides of having the widest space for every shopper's convenience.

ICM is a great mall but it is not the only mall in Bohol. The Mall itself is owned by Marlito Uy who is the owner of Alturas company. There s also three others malls owned by the same person in Bohol and he owns another mall in Cebu and also owner of Marcella feeds. The Other mall is Bohol Quality and both of these malls offer allot of contests and all kinds of top line entertainment. Allot of Bohol tri media members like to converge here at ICM as it is the local hub and newest pit stop from people who live in all corners of Bohol. Just across the street BlueShy Electric motors just had there new grand opening if your interested in buying friendly environmental transportation. I will let everyone know I admire all these mall owners for their contributions not only as fine mall owners but mall owners who have heart as they give always to the community. This last year a new one and only unitop store opened up here in Bohol and also has reasonable sales on just about everything you need from decor, hygiene products, clocks, radios, and clothes, also has a line of motor bikes and cell phone accessories. I think the malls need to stay open longer because I love them so much. 9pm is just to early. Both malls have a variety of theaters so you have a movie of your liking to watch. Bohol has beautiful beaches so come on and enjoy while you are here.

There is an ATM at the Island City Mall (ICM) It is outside the main entrance on the right as you go up the stairs to the entrance. The ATM accepts ATM cards on the Cirrus network, and will make cash advances (for a fee) on a credit card if you have a pin number. The Mall opens at 9:30 and closes at 9:00PM. Taxi fare from downtown at Plaza Rizal is 20P by tricycle and about 45P by Honda Taxi Cab. There is a multi screen theatre and admission is 60-80P for first run movies. The mall also has a Jolibee, KFC, Greenwich Pizza, Dunkin Donuts and a 'Starbucks' type coffeeshop. The grocery store/pharmacy/bakery downstairs is huge. It consumes almost 1/2 the entire first floor. The mall also has it's own water line and generators and is unaffected by 'brown-outs' A great addition to Tagb, I don't have to go downtown anymore.

Island City Mall was really a world class Mall when I have visited the past two years in Tagbilaran. I like the location as well, closer to the Dao district and a new Resort called Water Paradise, where my nobio and I stayed for only 900 pesos per night. Few people because there is no beach or restraunt. Great deal and Family!!! The IC mall is the place to go grocery shopping for world travelers. Bottom floor of the Mall. I always stop and buy the very largest Prawns in a bag, frozen (10 kilos) and bring them to Sierra Bullones, a farming & poor area for the poor folks as a regalo/gift to repay any kind of hospitality or kindness shown .to me. The price is under 1000 pesos/$20. USA but poor LOVE THEM !!!! I also recommend buying a Case of Tanduay Rum to give out as gifts .particularly to the old men and young men too. Suddenly you will have many body guards and companions to sight see and shop anywhere you go. I still love the old BQ. Mall the escalators help my bad knees and the prices are cheaper too. The theater upstairs is great and airconditioned and very cheap. Less than $1. usa. Easy to get taxi there only 100pesos.

It gives me gushing excitement to be back home this September knowing that alot of things have improved within a 2-year timeframe. It was back in 2003 when I left Bohol and the construction of ICM was still in its earliest stage. I thought it would just be another typical department store, but it turned out to be entirely different as what I could see in the photos posted here, and this gives me thrills. My only portal to informations about the development of our province is the internet, and I am always thankful to learn that Bohol has far soared up in terms of shopping and tourism. I am so proud to know that Bohol has gained increasing fame. The city is only small in area and population yet the shopping industry has boomed. It is my very hope that Bohol will consistenly and increasingly rise not only in the commercial and tourism fields but also in other industries that has long anchored in the province but not yet given more focus and development.

And, finally, may I suggest that the articles posted in this page be omitted of apparent competition between malls. It is not necessary to rank malls, but it would be great if you point out their features. It would be better if such construction of details be replaced with informations that focus on the uniqueness of each malls (it may be elaborated further to include certain things like the services of the establishments).

Alturas Supermarket should not have been labeled as one of the "smaller department stores". It is in fact the first full-service shopping centrum of Bohol and already considered as an institution. It offers the widest variety of supermarket items at the lowest price.
