Sea Drake Island Cruises boat rental Explore this almost unknown island which up to now has only been visited by a handful of fishermen! It is so hidden that it isn't even visible in Google Maps! Even more virgin than Virgin Island! This is Mundung Sandbar in Tubigon, Bohol . What better way to take you there by renting our boat. It is spacious, fast, and has a Sundeck, High power speakers and Usb charging. Max Capacity 12 persons. As a bonus we will throw in a short stopover at Dumog Island, another white sand island! All for 2,000 pesos for renting the boat (so if you're a group of four = 500 per head, a group of ten people = 200 pesos/head)! Not bad for a secret destination that only a few people know of! Pwede kayo mag zip line at cable car dun. P350 yung zip line tapos pwede kayo kunan ng pics habang nasa zip line kayo. Price ng pics w/cd and 1 printed copy of your chosen photo is P250. There are approximately 50+ shots sa isang cd. Very thankful kami sa driver kasi dinala nya kami dito kahit wala talaga sa itinerary namin ito. Dito kami talaga sa Loboc Eco-Tourism Adventure Park nag enjoy ng husto. One thing foreigners have to understand is the currenty exchange rate. They need to understand that when rates are quoted in Philippine pesos it is probably not that much money, but are shocked to heard the words 100 or 1000. Please keep in mind that 100P is only a little more than $2 USD and a 1000P is only a little over $20 USD. So that tricycle ride from the ferry or airport to your hotel for a dollar or two is not that bad. I usually bargin with the driver then tip him the difference when I arrive to his delight. Its a win-win for both. You feel like you got a deal and he is happy for the tip. Renting a new motorbike for about $10-20 USD a day is very reasonable price and you can find some junk to rent for cheaper.

Helo there! My husband and I are going to bohol on Sept. 28. We want to go to many places as we could on that day. Is it possible that we get a reasonable price for your transpo for just a few hours? We are primarily going to Danao. But we want to drop by as many places as possible on the way there. Here's our plan: Like we arrive at Tagbilaran at around 9am then plan to stay at Danao overnight. We basically need a transpo from Tagbilaran to Danao then we'll just find our way back to Tagbilaran on the 2nd of OCtober. How much will be your cost for the transpo plus your driver for just the two of us? Please, wag mo naman sana mahalan.... :D Hope to get a response from you the soonest possible. Salamat! Liez here

Hi Liez, we@bohol.ph are not offering tours to Bohol since we are not a travel agency. We are just helping the tourists of Bohol to get the information they need on their trip to this island.

Here you can find some transportation companies in Bohol. If you want to see many places in one day, I suggest you'll rent a car for a whole day trip or just take a package tour deal.--Rodelyn

Nagplano ko na movacation sa mahal kong yutang natawhan after four decades away from home. would like to verify how safe to travel around Bohol on a v-hire and how much could be the budget to include a hotel accommodations for a week or two. thanks.

Outside Tagbilaran, the streets are normally not very crowded, and although v-hire drivers like to drive fast, I feel reasonably safe in them. Of course it is a compromise: cheaper than spending a couple of thousand on renting a car or van, and faster than a bus. It is difficult to answer budget questions, but my suggestion is not to be penny-wise, pound-foolish. If you spend a couple of thousand dollars on getting here for a few weeks, then also allow yourself some relaxation, if in anyway possible. So find a hotel or resort you feel comfortable in, and go to places where they have nice food. Nothing beats staying with relatives (but don't forget to take them out for a great splash!). For about USD 100 (4600 pesos) per day a couple can stay in a very nice place, eat outside every day, and have a few excursions as well. You can go rock-bottom for USD 20 per day, by staying in a cheap place, using buses, and doing your own cooking, and on the high end, I know places they charge over USD 2000 per night, excluding food.--Jeroen.

Hi boholono's. Me and my gf will be visiting Bohol this weekend for a vacation. Our problem is we don't know anyone out there and how we can get around the island. Our plan is to stay in Panglao for 2 nights but on that day we arrive there we are planning to visit choco hills and see some tarsiers. Our problem we don't know where's the place and how we can get there and how much would it cost to hire a van. Is there any suggestions you can give to us any estimate how much would it cost? I really need this informations before the weekend. Please, please give us some suggestions and informations. I would really appreciate any informations you can give me on this. Eric from Cebu City.

We will be visiting Bohol by April and arriving early 6am in seaport, we plan to go straight to our tour at 8am. Can anyone give me idea of any restaurant near the seaport that offers good Filipino breakfast, while waiting for our tour guide. I need to arrange this so our tour guide will know were to pick up us. Any suggestion please. Or how far is Island city mall from the seaport. Thank you.

RELIABLE TAXI DRIVER I have been to Bohol twice already and I usually get Nonoy to drive us around. He's a very reliable and safe driver and does not hesitate to suggest detours to the other lesser known tourist spots in Bohol (at no extra charge). You may reach NONOY at 0917-304-4081.

I vacationed in Alona Beach and stayed in Tagbilaran last month, visiting my wife's parents. We drove a small motorcycle between these two locations several times. (These can be rented for about $10 USD per day) What scared us is the apparent "resort vans" that take too many risks passing traffic on this road. I've captured one incident at the end of video #3 here: www.kimberry.com/archives/2007/bohol/ We chose to take the longer loop around the north of Panglao to avoid this. We wish that the community would crack down: Few tourists are in that much of a hurry to get to destinations.

We are visiting Cebu in March on a very limited time and would like to know if it is possible to see Chocolate Hills and the tarsiers in a days time. There are 5 of us going to this tour and would like to know if there is any personal tour guide that we can get a hold of. Thank you.

We, a group of four, are going to Bohol from the cebu city in mid Feburary and will be staying at the Bohol Beach Club for two nights. How could I get to cebu pier? And then I believe we will take a ferry to Tagbilaran. And then how we get to the Bohol Beach Club? How much would each transportation cost? What are choices of food around the Club? Thanks

Great tips! I'd like to add that from the Tagbilaran Pier here are the going rates for the costs. It also pays to haggle for a better rate.

Tagbilaran Pier to Panglao Alona Kew White Beach Resort:

Tricycle: P200 to P300; for those on a budget/adventurous. 2 pax max plus bags

Taxi: P400+/- (meter running; depends on traffic, etc)

Car (good) or V-Hire (better): P500 to P600; for those who have a lot of bags/luggage. 3 pax for the car; 5-6 for the van. Most cars/taxis/vans have A/C. Ask first as it gets hot during long tours of the countyside. We rented a van with a driver. Enjoy!

Chito
