Rene, you said 'Before Eskaya, this area called Sunrise Beach." 'Beside' means that the Sunrise Beach which is a public beach, is not Eskaya's. Then why you put a sign 'NO TRESPASSING PRIVATE PROPERTY' at the end of the road going to Sunrise Beach. The guard that you stationed there says that people are not allowed to pass through that public road anymore. Since when did Eskaya bought the beach, and since when the beach can be owned by a private company. I called the attention of your reception on this but no changes has been made. Don't be greedy Eskaya, this beach is still for the people.

Your resort is amazing. A good place to relax but when i looked at the price it seems to me that your place is only for the people who can afford the budget. Do you have a local residents' rates? I mean... for Filipino rates. Thanks.

This resort uses the same prices for everybody. Whatever you think of their prices (which each resort is free to decide itself: a higher price range is typically used to select a more exclusive clientèle), discriminatory pricing is a practice that should be discouraged, and in many countries is illegal. From a business point of view, it also makes no sense: you may be giving your rooms to somebody paying less, instead of somebody else who might have paid more. Those Filipino's who can afford a to stay here are no less well-off than foreigners who can afford it. There are plenty alternatives in Alona Beach for a lower budget.--Jeroen.

Thanks for the reply to my 1st question. I forgot to ask then, is Eskaya a child-friendly resort? I experience that kids are not welcome in most high-end resorts in the Phils. I hope this is not the case with Eskaya!

Why did you call the resort as ESKAYA, what does it mean compare to other beach resorts in Bohol?

We have only one set of rates that applies to both foreign and local tourists.

The letters on top of Eskaya Logo are the characters of Eskaya Script a local dialect of the Eskaya Tribe. They have there own alphabet and it is stand for ESKAYA.

Some more information on the Eskaya script can be found in this interesting article by Hector Santos.--Jeroen

Eskaya Beach Resort & Spa Located in Tawala Panglao Island beside Bohol beach Club. We are at the right side facing the sea if you are in BBC. Alona Beach is about 5 minutes drive by car from Eskaya. Before Eskaya, this area called Sunrise Beach Thanks

Can you pinpoint the exact location of the new Eskaya resort for me? How is it located in relation to the Bohol Beach Club and Alona beach?

Just came back from a fantastic vacation from eskaya in Bohol. Almost everything is perfect. The beach is white, the staffs are wonderful and the food was great! The Balai (single- detached villa) are of course so beautiful inside and out...I wish there were a place like this in maldives! Eveything in Bohol is great! highly appreciated and recommended!

It looks like an exquisite place to stay in Bohol now. I'm looking forward to be there someday. Congratulations and more power to the management and staff.
