unsa may mga binisaya anaa nga mga kinhasona uy, mga nudi branch..unsa pa diha...puro mana latin ug maningles

Since most of these creatures never have been part of the lives of the people (although they lived just a few metres below the surface of the sea), they never received names. Also, it doesn't make much sense to try and give them names in the local language now, as there are so many, and people skilled enough to keep them apart are few. You would end up with every individual giving them different names, and that doesn't help in communicating about them also. So, the only thing we are left with are the scientific names, which are reasonably well-established, and, although they may be difficult for the un-initiated, are internationally recognized by the experts.--Jeroen.

Seen some at the nearby island province of Siquijor during one of our invertebrate zoology fieldtrips in college. Very colorful and fascinating sea creatures... You should see them in motion... better than ballerinas! Hope to see their 'cousins' in Bohol this weekend na!!
