But those money didn't circulate because of its high values.

I have one P2 Piso bill that she missed in crisp uncirculated condition, everything else is gone. I had currency all the way back to the 1960's when I was stationed in the Philippines.

I think it just stand for "Pilipinas". The new banknotes also spell that name in baybayin now.--Jeroen.
