I spent a week in Tagbilaran City in 1999 working with Habitat for Humanity at the Mount Banat'i development. Every day I heard the Bohol Hymn being sung. I got goosebumps every time I heard it -- and I still do. I long to visit Bohol again.

Thank you for your article and the great information about Bohol. I live in the U.S., but recently had the opportunity to visit various islands of the Philippines for about 3 weeks. I fell in love with the people and places of Bohol. I was even blessed to meet the Mayor of Catigbian. Looking through your pictures put a smile on my face as I recognized many of the places. Your information gives me a better appreciation for the history and heart of the island and its people.

Where can I obtain the sheet music for the Bohol Hymn? There are many sites that have the words, videos where it is sung but I cannot find the sheet music so I can play it.

It is a delight to read about the Provincial Symbols of Bohol. It is interesting to read about the birth place of my grandparents. My grand parents were from Jagna, Bohol. I remember my grandfather Cornelio Lloren spoke about his home in Bohol. My grandmother also told me stories about her birth place in Jagna, Bohol. I am very interested in making contact with the Lloren & Galus family in Bohol. Please if you know of these family members have them contact me. I am very interested in learning more of my genealogy. I would certainly want to correspond with them. Thank you very much for your assistance in this matter. Beverly Barba

My roots are from Bohol. Specifically, from Bagumbayan, Loboc, Bohol. Priete and Baluran are my family roots. I hope and pray that my clans up there are doing well. My last visit to Bohol was in 1970. I'm planning to visit April of next year 2007 and pay homage to Mama Mary of Guadalupe, which is also our patron here in Davao City. By the way, I was really proud to see and hear the world class Loboc Children's Choir on their concert at Central Bank Convention Center. Boholanos here are very proud. Keep the good work. Thanks.

The Bohol flag lacks imagination. At first glance you would think it is the flag of France. It is not very original design.

First of all, this is a great website. I love Bohol, I think it's the best place there is. If you ask anyone who was born there, they would tell you that they're proud to be a Boholano. I just hope people would be so kind and keep this island as beautiful as it should be. Kumusta to my friends and relatives in Garcia-Hernandez.

It's been about 20 something years since I left my beloved Bohol. Still I dream of seeing it once again to recollect the memories left behind during my younger years. Living abroad, the quickiest and closiest way that I can get to Bohol is logging onto this site. Thank you very much for the tremendous amount of time spent to make this site. GOD BLESS.

As a Boholana, I am very proud of what Bohol had for the past years and the improvements the Boholanos made. This article would be of help because it will promote the tourism on Bohol. It is very amazing that we have our own symbols and it signifies the identity and uniqueness of our beloved place Bohol. I hope a lot of Boholanos around our country will realize and give attention to their native land for Bohol has everything to be proud of. Thank you!
